LEARNING TO WALK.

With a background as an advertising agency Art Director, I have been running my own graphic design firm since 2002. I learned to explain the rules that go into good design teaching college-level marketing & design classes for over 13 years. Over that time, I have climbed more than a few mountains… starting in print, doing ad campaigns, direct mail, brochures, banners, signage, annual reports, postcards, and designing websites, email blasts, online ads, always thinking strategically, seeking results, and navigating the integration of both.
I get there on my own two feet, meaning I do the work myself. This makes me ideal for small clients with big ambitions.

Fundraising- a science that requires art and is measured in results. I began working with the Mercer Island Schools Foundation in 2002. It had become clear that public school districts needed more than government funding could provide so I provided advertising and marketing help. Back then, their fundraising efforts were stalled at approximately $500,000 annually; money that went to curriculum, textbooks, computers, enrichment, and programs. I continue to help students and teachers through the Mercer Island Schools Foundation.
